Holmes Lake House

Wide Beach is a private beach community situated in close proximity to Angola On-The-Lake to the north, and Sunset/Hanford Bay and Silver Creek to the West.  Holmes Lake House property boasts a 50' lake front view with steps down to a broad expanse of sand and rock strewn beach. To the north, the beach extends to the rock cliffs of Lotus Point that separate Wide Beach from Lotus Bay.

 

For the more adventurous beach walkers, strolling west along the shoreline will bring you past the Snyder Beach community located on the western most land of the Seneca Nation Reservation. The Snyder Beach waterfront stretches to the mouth of Cattaraugus Creek, adjacent to Sunset Bay, which is accessible by watercraft or a short drive by car.  Bask in the sun on beach chairs and loungers. Pets are welcome on leash and supervised.

 

Evenings are capped off with a campfire on the beach with driftwood collected during your morning stroll.  Please no glass containers on the beach - carry in/carry out to help keep Wide Beach beautiful!
